U-S Marshals have arrested a man wanted in a deadly D-W-I crash last year.
The Greene County prosecutor charged 49 year old Donald Pierce Jr. with second degree murder and driving while intoxicated.
Marshals arrested Pierce at a residence on South Jefferson in Springfield where he was reported hiding.
Last October, Pierce’s pickup truck struck an S-U-V head-on on West Bypass.
A passenger in the S-U-V, Linda Ward was killed.
Toxicology reports confirmed the presence of methamphetamine in Pierce’s system.
