A penguin makes a pretty cute ring bearer!
Most people have their nephew or young boy be the ring bearer at their wedding. This groom decided to surprise his penguin-loving bride with something else, though!

Recharging! What an important thing to do! A 3-day Holiday weekend offers the perfect opportunity to recharge by stepping away from work and at times more importantly – daily routines. Using time to relax, whether through leisure activities like reading, hiking, or enjoying a hobby, and of upmost importance prioritizing self-care. Connecting with family and friends, indulging in good food, and getting ample rest can rejuvenate both mind and body! I had the best time kicking off the weekend trying a new restaurant, going to a new business opening. Visited a great brunch spot, had a fabulous game of mini golf followed by a sweet treat. Lots of physical activity and SO MUCH great sleep. I got very familiar with my patio and my COUCH … both of which I was very much missing! Although the thought of another day off is AMAZING … Recharging makes it easier to return to the regularly scheduled program quite a bit more refreshed and much more energized!
When it comes to tourism, America is number one!
Break out the champagne bottles and start the, “USA! USA!” chants! America has been awarded the title of “Best Country for Travel and Tourism.” Not bad!
Countries were ranked by infrastructure, natural resources, sustainability, labor availability, and competitive pricing. Also considered were hotels, airports, attractions, and airlines. America was voted the best, not entirely because of our attractions, but how well we can handle tourists. Which is clearly pretty well!
So maybe you don’t need to plan that European vacation just yet. Go ahead and take a long road trip around the world’s best country for travel and tourism!

Dogs fly first class on Bark Air!
There should be no more arguing over who’s crazier between cat people and dog people. Dog people are shelling out $6,000 to fly on Bark Air!
Dogs get extra space, treats, earmuffs, and there’s even doggy champagne and coffee! Doggy coffee seems like a horrible idea, though. Get the pooch even more fired up while he’s high in the sky!
Until there’s a Meow Air or Feline Flights, I say dog people spending $6,000 on a flight are way more crazy than any cat lady… or cat daddy!

Waiting at red lights is awful, but there’s no wait in America worse than this one!
How many times have you sat at a red light and thought, “Goodness gracious, this is taking FOREVER!” As long as you waited, it wasn’t this long! The longest red light in America is in New Jersey and clocks in at a wait of 5-minutes and 33-seconds! OUCH!
Gross. I’ll run the red light and risk the ticket instead of waiting for that! – Joe

When I saw GREASE on the BIG screen in 1978, I was hooked on movies! Part of my emphasis in college was on Film. As soon as the radio station I worked at while at my first real job would allow me to do a movie review, I DID … May 24th, 1996 (woah 28 years ago). I’ve had the massive fortune to be on various radio stations since. Then, May 22nd, 2008, I debuted a segment called BOX OFFICE BUZZ on KOLR10 … then, when KOLR10/FOX added their Life Style programs, I joined those. 16 years later I am so over the moon to still be on TVs Ozarks Fox AM.
Along the way, there was a very extra special moment on May 12th, 2009. In a wild set of circumstances that resulted from working on a promotion with (then) Wehrenberg Campbell 16 (with the lovely Bracy Bays) IT happened. The Tom Cruise Lunch came to fruition. My first trip to Los Angeles was literally a catered lunch with Tom Cruise (TC). Whether you love him or do not, he is an international SUPER star. It was very surreal as I’ve loved this guy since 1981’s TAP (great flick). I was very nervous while heading to TCs office (at that time) on the top floor at MGM studios. Was he going to be nice or not all of that?!? There was a beautiful lunch of an incredible Caesar salad. TC was not in the room yet and his publicist walked in and say Tom was going to be late. I was like, oh no here we go, he’s not showing up. I continued to eat my salad not believing TC was going to ever enter the room. My back was to the door and my chair got bumped, I thought it was the caterer … NOPE, it was that million-dollar grin staring right into my eyes … he DID arrive. There were about six of us in total at this lunch. Tom made rounds in the room. We chatted about movies; our favorites and TC and I kept circling back to me to chat about the marketing of movies – we bonded. The rest is history…
No, she didn’t. But also yes, she did!
Last year, Taylor Swift’s Eras tour sold out stadiums across the country. A lot of football teams that played in those stadiums had to play away games on the weekends Taylor was there. So in a way, she did manipulate the schedule. But this happens a lot with big tours. She’s hardly the first to do it.
That said, the Chiefs will be playing in Buffalo at the same time Taylor is doing a six-show run in Toronto (right across Lake Ontario). Did the NFL do this as a favor to Taylor to be closer to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce? Maybe!
In any matter, please keep the Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce/NFL conspiracy theories going, because they’re just too ridiculous and too much fun!

Athletic training company, Exos has its employees do what they want on Fridays. Catch up on work, take the day off, whatever! But no one is allowed to have meetings or send emails.
Brilliant! Some companies have moved to four-day workweeks, but that can be a tough transition for a lot of places. This is the perfect in-between for that!

Steaks of all varieties. I’ll take mine medium rare. Ribs, Pork chops and pork steaks. Chicken. Brisket and an assortment of tasty vegetables. What are you throwing on the grill?
As far as sides go… potato salad, cole slaw and baked beans reign supreme. How about you?
