It has been a LONG time since there have been FIVE or more great flicks on the big screen at once time.  I don’t want you to miss any of them!

-WONKA – Great for the family!  Very whimsical, easy to watch and enjoy and rather sweet (no pun intended)

-THE BOYS IN THE BOAT – Geroge Clooney directed … pretty to watch and very uplifting

-THE COLOR PURPLE – I had no idea I’d enjoy and appreciate this film so very much

-IRON CLAW – Incredible true story with fabulous performances

-ANYONE BUT YOU – A good old-fashioned RomCom that’s just plain fun

See a movie the way it should be seen, on the BIG screen

It’s a new year and I feel like it’s a good time to throw some stuff away. De-clutter the house. I started looking around for good candidates for the trash can and the first thing I came to was our dogs toy monkey. It’s old and smelly and has seen better days, so I tossed it. Then, I felt bad about it. Memories of the dogs frolicking in the yard with their monkey popped in my head. I started feeling guilty about it. They might miss their monkey. They could get depressed. I pondered this for close to half an hour and then took it out of the trash and put it in the back yard. The moral of the story… if it takes me this long to decide the fate of this monkey, maybe I” just wait until next year to de clutter. Happy New Year!

Many people engage in the tradition of setting resolutions.  It’s a fresh start to guide personal development and goals for the upcoming year.  Is it something easy to stick with to offer up a sense of purpose and motivation?  OR, many believe the resolution is not a needed tradition as change/improvement can happen at any time, not just the beginning of a new year.  Whether you make them or not, a resolution can be a commitment to growth and positive change.  Do you make resolutions?  Like Kevin’s:  He wants to participate in every single Taco Tuesday of 2024.  Or, mine … I want to dig way deeper into the Taylor Swift music library !  If you make them, what motivates you?
