Kevin has been waking up Springfield with fun & games for over 20 years. Plus, if there is a big community event happening you can bet Kevin & Chris will be part of it.
Kevin grew up in St. Pete, Florida, and Atlanta, Georgia, where he discovered the joy of radio in college. He got his first morning gig in Augusta, Georgia., then moved to Springfield in 1995. He’s been loving it ever since.
He’s excited to be partnering with Chris Louzader, who has been a long-time contributor to the show. Both absolutely LOVE what they do. “We are especially proud of our work in the community with the Ozarks Food Harvest, The Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks and so many others,” he says. “I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. I guess you could say, I’m living the dream and I’m super excited to share my mornings with listeners on 98.7 The Dove.”
Kevin met his wife Kelly at a radio contest. “Obviously, I was the winner,” he jokes. Kelly’s a Springfield girl and they’ve been married for 17 years and have two great kids “with attitudes.” Sam is in high school, and Lilly is 12. The family loves the beach, Silver Dollar City, and binge-watching TV shows. They also love hanging out with their dogs – Bam Bam, Snoop and Doc, a trio Kevin describes as “a handful.”
