Springfield Police have arrested a man for allegedly assaulting two elderly people.
A probable cause statement says 47-year-old Michael Plumlee Junior of Springfield is facing two counts of domestic assault.
The victims were a 71-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman.
The woman was hospitalized after Plumlee allegedly threw her to the ground and kicked her in the ribs.
Plumlee is in the Greene County Jail.
