A woman from Marshfield is facing a charge of murder in the death of her boyfriend on New Year’s Eve.
Reports say 21-year-old Madison Rueckert has been charged with first-degree murder after her boyfriend was shot and killed at 24-years-old.
The boyfriend’s identity hasn’t been released at this time.
Authorities were called to the home in Marshfield, where they found the man dead by a gunshot wound to the head.
Investigators say Rueckert admitted to shooting her boyfriend after she found text messages to and from other women on his phone.
They also say a gun was found that they believe was used in the shooting.
