Police in Springfield are investigating a possible murder-suicide that left two men dead.
Officers were called to Cox North Wednesday afternoon after hospital staff reported two men entering the hospital with assault-like injuries.
The victims alleged they were attacked by a man with a hammer at a business on West Chestnut Expressway between Miller Street and Mahn Street.
When authorities arrived at the business, they found the body of 35-year-old Vincent Odom.
Police say Odom attacked the two men, and then killed himself.
Investigators later reported that one of the victims, 53-year-old Phillip Campbell, later died of his injuries at the hospital.
The other victim suffered moderate injuries and was released from the hospital.
