‘SNL’ Pokes Fun at Adam Levine’s Alleged Cheating Scandal in Hilarious DM Game Show Sketch: Watch

Saturday Night Live hilariously addressed Adam Levine‘s alleged cheating scandal during the show’s 48th season premiere on Oct. 1.

In a nearly six-minute game show sketch, titled “Send Something Normal,” four male celebrity contestants — Levine (played by Mikey Day), actor Armie Hammer (James Austin Johnson), astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson (Kenan Thompson) and SNL cast member Bowen Yang (himself) — are challenged with replying to “a woman’s DM on Instagram in a way that is normal.” This proves to be a challenge for all of the men.

First-time SNL host Miles Teller, who plays game show host Halen Hardy, kicks things off by showing the Maroon 5 frontman a fictional DM from a woman named Elizabeth_Marie_1992. “Hey Adam. Huge fan. Love your music!” she writes. Before giving his response, Day’s Levine asks to see the woman’s most liked vacation photos, which happens to be a snapshot of her wearing a bikini. The musician licks his lips and rubs his hands before replying, “Hoooly Moly!” He digs himself into a deeper hole, adding, “Your body is making my penis smile!”

The SNL skit follows recent allegations that Levine had an affair with Instagram model Sumner Stroh, 23, despite his marriage to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, with whom he shares two daughters and is expecting another child. Levine has since denied having an affair, but shared in a statement that he “used poor judgement in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner.”

Later in the sketch, reigning champ Yang, who attributes his success on the game show to “being gay,” faces his own challenge when attempting to respond to a friendly DM from Dua Lipa. “Oh no!” Yang yells out before responding, “Hooooly mooly! Hoooly crap! Your music makes my penis smile!”

Watch SNL‘s “Send Something Normal” skit below, and see the full episode on Hulu here. The streaming service is currently offering a 30-day free trial, which you can sign up for here. The show is also live streamed on Peacock.

Beyonce Celebrates Solange’s Score for the New York City Ballet

Solange made her debut as a composer for the New York City Ballet, and Beyoncé is a proud big sister.

Solange wrote an original score for Play Time, choreographed by Gianna Reisen. It premiered this week at Lincoln Center as part of NYCB’s Fall Fashion Gala, and a number of performances are slated for October and May.

Beyoncé showed support on Instagram on Saturday (Oct. 1), posting slideshows featuring photos and videos from her sister’s evening at the ballet.

“My beloved sister, there are no words to express the pride and admiration I have for you,” she wrote to Solange. “You are a visionary and one of one. Congratulations on being the first African American woman to compose for the New York City Ballet. The piece you composed is phenomenal. I love you deep.”

“Might I suggest you don’t f*** with my sis,” she added.

“heart so fulll,” Solange wrote on her own Instagram page, where she also shared several photos from her big night. The score she penned was performed by the City Ballet Orchestra and a soloist from her ensemble.

“There’s a lot of nuance to it. It’s exciting, for sure,” Reisen said of the score in an interview with All Arts. “That’s what I wanted; I wanted something that would kind of keep the audience on their toes.”

Post Malone Opens Up About Fatherhood, Says His Baby Girl Is ‘A Legend’

Post Malone, who’s “ready to keep rocking and rolling” after a recent stage fall and some hospital time, opened up a bit about his family life in a new interview.

The artist casually announced the birth of his daughter in June, noting that he intends to keep most details about his child private. “I want to let her make her own decisions,” he explained at the time.

In an interview with GQ published on Friday (Sept. 30), Malone brought up his 4-month-old while talking about his collaboration with Moose Knuckles for a collection that includes children’s sizes.

“It’s really tough not being able to see her, but she’s coming out more often now,” he said of being on tour. “She’s huge, she’s super tall, and she’s such a legend and I’m just happy to see her. But it is heartbreaking having to leave and not be able to be with her all the time.”

He commented that he “can’t tell yet” whether his little one enjoys his tunes.

“She hasn’t cried whenever I put my music on so far, which I think is a good sign, but we’ll wait and find out,” said Malone. “I got to let her decide. I tried to play her some stuff but I can’t really tell what she’s into right now. She’s going to have to like my music, I think, [or] she’s going to get used to it — I know everybody at the house plays it for her and hopefully, they’ll get stuck in her head. Kids love my music for some reason, which is awesome, so I’m hoping that she just goes with the flow on that one.”

One thing he probably doesn’t mind missing out on while he’s busy on stage?

“The blowouts,” he said, when asked about the craziest part of new parenthood. “She will blow out sometimes and it’ll come right outside of her pants. The poop will just be dripping out and I’m like, ‘What the hell happened?’ That’s how I know it definitely is my daughter — not that I have blowouts, but that I know my way around a toilet.”

Malone was forced to cancel a concert in Boston a week ago when he was experiencing “a stabbing pain whenever I breathe or move.” The health scare — which came a week after he took a nasty spill on stage at a St. Louis show — brought him to the hospital.

“We took a good three days off, we started healing up,” he said this week in his chat with GQ. “They gave me good medicine, all the lidocaine patches and everything, so I’m feeling a whole lot better.”

Megan Thee Stallion Gets Ready for Halloween With All-New Spooky Pumpkin Head Photos

She’s baaack!

Megan Thee Stallion is getting into the Halloween spirit with some spooky new jack-o’-lantern photos. The Grammy-winning rapper took to social media on Saturday (Oct. 1) to continue her tradition of posing with a carved pumpkin on her head ahead of Halloween on Oct. 31.

In this year’s new set of sinister pics, Megan is seen relaxing around the house in pink silk pajamas while sipping on a fruity cocktail, all while wearing a bright orange pumpkin with hallowed out pointy eyes, an upside triangle nose, and a mouth with jagged teeth.

This isn’t the first time the “Plan B” artist has celebrated Halloween early. Last year, she kicked off the first day of October with a similar set of pictures. For those images, Megan sported a similar looking jack-o’-lantern, but opted for a black long-sleeve crop with dark leggings and tons of diamond encrusted jewelry, including a flashy “Hot Girl” necklace.

In 2021, the 27-year-old rapper dressed up as Pinhead, the lead Cenobite in the Hellraiser film series. Instead of donning the antagonist’s usual floor length leather jacket, she had a NSFW vision for costume — a black patent leather cut out bodysuit and matching thigh-high boots with several buckle and piercing adornments.

“Pain has a face. Allow me to show you. Gentlemen I am pain #hottieween,” Megan wrote on Instagram. In a follow-up post, she told her followers, “y’all already know my hottieween party abt to bet LIT this year…I can’t wait to see everyone’s costume.”

The star is fresh off the release of her sophomore album, Traumazine, which features guest appearances by Future, Dua Lipa, Latto, Jhené Aiko, Lucky Daye, Key Glock, Pooh Shiesty, Rico Nasty, Sauce Walka, Big Pokey, and Lil Keke. The set includes previously released singles “Sweetest Pie,” “Plan B” and “Pressurelicious.”

Megan is also set to perform a double-duty gig on Saturday Night Live as both the host and musical guest on Oct. 15. This will be her second time taking the SNL stage, as she previously appeared as musical guest to perform “Savage” and “Don’t Stop” in 2020. The evening will mark her first time hosting the longtime sketch comedy show.

A Worried Taylor Swift Gets Violently Shoved in New ‘Amsterdam’ Teaser: Watch

Taylor Swift is featured yet again in the latest trailer for David O. Russell’s murder mystery movie Amsterdam.

The new 30-second teaser, released on Saturday (Oct. 1), begins with a worried looking Swift running up to stars Christian Bale and John David Washington in the bustling streets of the 1930s.

“Is somebody watching me?” Swift, dressed in a jade green tweed coat and skirt ensemble, fearfully asks the concerned looking men. “I don’t know if I can talk about this.”

As she dramatically delivers her last line, Swift’s character gets violently pushed into the street by a mysterious looking man. She’s then heard screaming as a car horn is heard blaring in the background.

Few details are known about Swift’s Amsterdam role, but the 32-year-old superstar reportedly plays the mourning daughter of a prominent man murdered toward the beginning of the film. Lead characters played by Bale, Washington and Margot Robbie are wrongfully accused of having murdered him, which leads them down the path of uncovering a mysterious plot and altering “the course of American history,” according to a previous trailer.

Leading up to the Oct. 7 premiere of Amsterdam, posters showcasing each individual actor in the main cast were released on social media to give viewers a sneak peek at the movie’s characters. Posing with one gloved hand on her hip and another resting on her chest, Swift appeared in her image dressed in an outfit inspired by 1930s fashion, complete with a luxurious black fur collar and hat.

In addition to its leads, Amsterdam‘s all-star lineup includes Chris Rock, Anya Taylor-Joy, Zoe Saldaña, Rami Malek, Robert De Niro, Mike Myers, Michael Shannon, Timothy Olyphant, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts and Alessandro Nivola.

Lea Michele Talks ‘Funny Girl’ Broadway Revival, Performs ‘People’ on ‘Tonight Show’: Watch

Lea Michele dropped by The Tonight Show to promote the Broadway revival of Funny Girl.

The 36-year-old Glee alum sat down with host Jimmy Fallon on Friday (Sept. 30) to discuss her starring role as Fanny Brice in the critically acclaimed theater production, and later delivered a mesmerizing performance of the Funny Girl number “People.”

“I’ve been wanting to come back to Broadway for so many years, I was gone for 15 years, Spring Awakening was the last show I did,” Michele said. “To be back and to be in the show that I’ve loved for so many years, but I’m such a fan of this production. Incredible cast. Incredible score.”

After months of hype, the curtain went up on Michele’s stint as the Funny Girl lead on Sept. 6. She took over from standby Julie Benko, who had performed the role since original star Beanie Feldstein exited the production in July. The show also stars Tovah Feldshuh as Mrs. Brice, alongside existing stars Ramin Karimloo and Tony nominee Jared Grimes.

Michele’s latest Broadway role isn’t the first time she’s taken a crack at some of the musical’s beloved songs made famous by Barbra Streisand. During the first season of Glee, the actress’ character Rachel Berry gave an instantly iconic performance of Act 1 closer “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” and later in the series moved to New York City to star in a Broadway revival of Funny Girl.

“Now I’m doing it,” Michele told Fallon. “I’m 36 now, and the story of Funny Girl spans through the course of many years. You see her love and her loss and her failures and her successes and becoming a mom and a wife… I feel like at this point being where I am right now, it’s just perfect. Timing is everything and I am so grateful.”

Tennessee High Court Reverses Naomi Judd Death Investigation Order

Tennessee’s high court on Thursday (Sept. 29) vacated a ruling that required police to publicly release their investigation of country singer Naomi Judd’s death.

The state Supreme Court did not rule on whether the records can be released, but sent the case back to the lower court for another hearing. Judd’s family filed a petition in Williamson County Chancery Court in August, saying the police records contain video and audio interviews with relatives in the immediate aftermath of Judd’s death.

Releasing such details would inflict “significant trauma and irreparable harm” on the family, the petition said. It argued that the police investigative files are covered by an exemption to the state’s public records law.

Williamson County Chancellor Joseph A. Woodruff ruled against the Judd family on Aug. 31, denying their request for an injunction to keep the records private while they pursue their legal case. The records “do not appear to fall within any recognized exception to the Public Records Act,” Woodruff found.

In addition, the chancellor ruled that specific records in the police file are public records, including body camera footage taken inside of Judd’s home. But the Tennessee Supreme Court took issue with that part of the chancellor’s order. The high court said on Thursday that Woodruff should not have ruled on which specific records are public and which are private without a full hearing on the issue.

The court vacated Woodruff’s earlier ruling and sent the case back to the Chancery Court for a new hearing.

Judd died on April 30 at her home in Tennessee at the age of 76. Her daughter Ashley has previously said that her mother killed herself, and the family said she was lost to “the disease of mental illness.”
