The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating a house fire that left one person dead in Hartville.
Firefighters were called to the scene along Alma Road just outside of Hartville city limits Friday morning, just before 4 a.m.
The house was declared a total loss, but crews were able to extinguish the flames at around 4:30 a.m.
When first responders entered the home, they found one person dead.
An autopsy is being performed today to identify the victim and determine the cause of death.
