In a statement Monday, Jay Wasson revealed he has been endorsed by every County Sheriff in the 7th Congressional District.
Wasson, a native of Christian County, is running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Missouri’s 7th District. The winner of the race will succeed Billy Long, who is currently running for U.S. Senate.
Wasson has received endorsements from notable sheriff’s in Christian County, Greene County and Lawrence County among others.
The Republican Primary for the election will take place August 2nd. Recent polling has Wasson leading in the race ahead of State Senator’s Mike Moon and Eric Burlison.
